We run group classes for complete beginners and experienced handlers.
Our group classes are for adult handlers and suitable for dogs from 10 months old (unless a puppy class).
To take part in a group class, your dog must be able to mix with other dogs and people without any problems.
How to Join
There are 3 ways to join us depending on your experience level and our class availability:
Option 1: Flexi Class Ad hoc classes suitable for complete beginners and beginners with some experience
Option 2: Foundation Course An introductory course for complete beginners/dogs with no agility experience
Option 3: Weekly Group Class If a vacancy becomes available in an existing weekday group class (for experienced dogs only)
Option 1: Flexi Class
Our Flexi Class is a flexible class suitable for complete beginners (with no experience) or beginners with some experience.
Our flexi class allows you to book one group session at a time without committing to a full course (also handy if you are waiting for a foundation course or a space in a regular weekly group).
These classes are open to adult handlers only (18 or above) Dogs must be older than 10 months to participate in these classes *Due to current restrictions handlers must attend alone currently (no spectators allowed)
The flexi classes mainly run on a Saturday or Sunday throughout the year and also on occasional week days (and weekday evenings during the summer). The classes are scheduled around my availability so will not necessarily run every week.
Whenever new flexi classes are added to the diary, they will be made available for you to book directly through our website, places are booked on a first come first served basis. Click on the Book a Class button to view available classes and Book Now.
Make sure you are on our mailing list if you would like to be notified by email whenever these go live. These classes get booked up quickly!
An introductory course specifically for dogs who have no agility experience (or very limited experience).
During this course we will start to teach basic agility foundation skills and gradually introduce dogs to jumps and tunnels at a very basic level. The purpose of this course is to provide a FUN introduction to agility.
After you have completed the Foundation Course, sometimes there may be space on an existing weekly class for you to join, or if there are enough people wanting to continue from your foundation course, a new regular weekly class may be formed for your group.
If you would like to be notified when any new Foundation Courses are made available, please make sure you join our mailing list.
You can also take part in our flexi classes while you are waiting for a foundation course to be added - if you are on our mailing list we will automatically notify you whenever flexi classes are made available for booking.
Option 3: Weekly Group Class
Our regular weekly group classes are held on week-day daytimes throughout the year.
These classes consist of members that have been training with us over the years on a regular weekly basis.
Most classes remain full throughout the year, but occasionally spaces do become available.
If you and your dog have some experience and are interested in joining an existing weekday group, please join our mailing list so we can notify you if any 'experienced' spaces become available. In addition to joining the mailing list, please alsoemail us directly with the following details, as we may just have a suitable space waiting for you:
Dog's name, age and breed What experience you and your dog have Which week days are suitable for you
Group classes run every week on a rolling basis, payable in advance in 6 week terms.
